| Forklift "Train-the-Trainer"
The Train-The-Trainer Program we offer is on-site and this site specific approach has multiple benefits.
Your in-house instructors will be trained specifically on the types of forklifts your operators use in the specific applications they are used in.
Our Train-the-Trainer program provides in-house trainers with the most current training materials to fulfill both federal and state requirements. The training materials include a comprehensive site-specific instructor's manual. This manual contains an equipment specific and site specific agenda. Also included is one instructional video, a forklift model to use in presentations, and a starter set of certificates and wallet cards. As is the case with all the on-site training we offer, scheduling is very flexible, including evenings and weekends.
Classes are offered on-site in English or Spanish.
Train-the-Trainer instruction is available for all seven classes of powered industrial trucks:
-
Class I: Electric Powered Counterbalanced
-
Class II: Narrow Aisle Forklifts
-
Class III: Electric Walkie/Walkie Rider Pallet Jacks
-
Class IV: Internal Combustion Cushion Tire Forklifts
-
Class V: Internal Combustion Pneumatic Tire Forklitfts
-
Class VI: Electric and Internal Combustion Tow Tractors
-
Class VII: Rough Terrain Forklifts
Company's often look to guidance for choosing trainers. A guidance document put out by the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety & Health Administration is available at http://www.osha.gov which may answer some of your Fed/OSHA forklift training compliance questions.
