Your Emergency Action Plan will be located below and in the IIPP manual: |
| Is your Emergency Action Plan in Place? The Emergency Action
Plan is one of the most important programs in the event of accident, injury, fire,
explosion, earthquake, act of violence, or any other unexpected event. For the
safety of your employees and to be in compliance with 8 C.C.R. 3220 all the components of
an emergency response plan need to be in place so that your company and its employees can
perform the tasks required in event of an emergency. Many people think having 911 up on the Right-to-Know Station is a corporate emergency action plan in event of a catastrophe; however, you could be dead wrong, and it does not comply with 8 C.C.R. § 3220. Correct Emergency Telephone numbers to the corresponding emergency agencies are essential. Emergency Action Plans must be written and all employees must be trained to respond as required by that plan.
