Hazardous Waste Materials Procedures

The purpose of the Hazardous Materials Business Plan is to establish procedures and programs for handling hazardous materials in compliance with Chapter 6.95 of the California Health and Safety Code Section 25500 et seq.

Employees need to be trained on important aspects of your Hazardous Materials Business Plan so that hazardous waste materials are stored, labeled, handled, and disposed of according to regulations.  The inventory form for Hazardous Waste Materials, MSDS Sheets for the Hazardous Waste Materials, Hazardous Waste Procedures, Proper Storage,  Emergency Coordinator information, site maps, Emergency Response Plan, and the Employee training program can all be easily available here at this link, so that training new employees, or conducting refresher training is efficiently managed.

This plan is also available on paper both at your company, and filed with the county per the California Health and Safety Code Section 25500 et seq.  Having important training components on disk, or in the IIPP Manual is of benefit to the Hazardous Communication Coordinator, Business Plan Coordinator, and the IIPP Administrator.
